EF Adventures and Backcountry Partner on Curated 2027 Hiking Tours
EF Adventures and outdoor retailer Backcountry have unveiled a collaborative series of hiking and multi-adventure tours for 2027, pairing guided cultural immersion with technical gear expertise. The collection spans four distinct international itineraries, ranging from the American Southwest to the rugged peaks of Patagonia.
The partnership integrates the logistical infrastructure of EF Adventures with the technical knowledge of Backcountry’s "Gearhead" experts. Every traveler booked on these tours receives one-on-one consultations to prepare for specific environmental challenges, such as the high-desert sun of Utah, the glacial conditions of Norway, or the unpredictable wind and rain of the Chilean and Argentine Andes. Beyond pre-trip planning, each itinerary includes destination-specific equipment provided by the retailer.
The collection launches in April 2027 with a trek through the American Southwest, covering Sedona, the Grand Canyon, and Zion National Park. Subsequent trips include a multi-sport excursion through Norway’s Sognefjord region in July, a hiking tour of the Italian Dolomites in August, and a demanding 14-day expedition across Patagonia in November. Each tour is led by an EF Adventures director responsible for local cultural interpretation and group cohesion, supported by professional photographers at designated "signature moments" along the trails.
