Pamir Provides DHS With Intelligence on Forced Labor Risks

The U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s UFLPA Entity List Office now has direct access to Pamir Solutions’ intelligence platform. This partnership aims to expose forced labor risks embedded in supply chains that traditional traceability methods often fail to detect, specifically those involving state-led labor transfers from Xinjiang.

Pamir specializes in investigating individual worksites located outside of Xinjiang that participate in government-backed labor transfer programs. While conventional ESG screening and supplier declarations often focus on upstream raw materials, Pamir tracks the workforce itself. By analyzing recruitment patterns and the involvement of state intermediaries, the firm identifies risks at the direct-supplier level that remain invisible to standard audits.

This intelligence integration follows the DHS’s recent expansion of the UFLPA Entity List, which added 43 companies in August. Unlike static datasets, the Pamir platform provides live, evidence-based updates on specific factory-level risks. Co-founder Daniel Murphy noted that the initiative seeks to bridge the gap between fragmented evidence and actionable entity-level intelligence, allowing regulators to address labor violations before they manifest in conventional trade data.
