Tamarack Resort Named Among Top Ski Destinations by Condé Nast Traveler
Nearly 800,000 travelers cast their votes in this year’s Condé Nast Traveler Readers' Choice Awards, securing Idaho’s Tamarack Resort the number 21 spot among the nation’s ski destinations. The ranking serves as a direct endorsement from guests who experienced the resort’s mountain community and terrain firsthand throughout the past year.

For Tamarack Resort President Scott Turlington, the accolade validates the team’s ongoing push to refine guest services and infrastructure. The resort, situated 90 miles north of Boise, draws visitors with 2,800 vertical feet of terrain spread across 2,000 acres, bolstered by an average annual snowfall of 300 inches. Beyond the 59 named ski runs, the property functions as a year-round destination featuring a pedestrian-friendly village, Nordic trails, and dining options.
This latest recognition arrives amidst a streak of industry attention for the Idaho location. Earlier in 2026, Travel + Leisure named Tamarack the top resort in the West, and Golfweek designated its Osprey Meadows course as the premier public-access course in the state. Recent physical expansions, including the debut of a 100-slip marina on Lake Cascade, suggest the resort is positioning itself to maintain this momentum as it transitions into the winter season.
