The upcoming product lineup features a video doorbell, a thermostat, and a suite of security cameras, including indoor, outdoor, and floodlight models. According to reports, several of these devices will utilize the Thread and Matter protocols, ensuring broad compatibility within the smart home ecosystem. A standout addition is a deadbolt lock equipped with ultra-wideband technology, enabling hands-free entry as users approach their homes.

These devices are designed to anchor Apple's broader ambition to dominate the connected home. Central to this strategy is a rumored Siri-enabled hub featuring a six-inch wall-mountable display. By pairing LG's established hardware manufacturing expertise with its own software ecosystem, Apple aims to refine its smart home presence. The October event may also see updates to the HomePod mini and the Apple TV hardware lineup.
