Americas Cardroom Deploys ScreenShield to Combat Remote Access Risks
Americas Cardroom has initiated a security overhaul across the Winning Poker Network, deploying ScreenShield software to combat unauthorized remote-access threats. Following a internal review that confirmed no breach of official systems, the operator is now offering the protective tool to players while coordinating with other industry stakeholders to address screen-sharing vulnerabilities.

The security measure specifically targets unauthorized screen-capture and sharing tools. While the technology obscures table content from external software, the operator cautions that it may disrupt legitimate streaming or session recording. Because remote-access software often serves benign technical purposes, the network emphasizes that detecting such capabilities on a user’s device does not automatically confirm cheating or a compromised account.
Players concerned about their security can request the feature by contacting support, with activation typically processed within 48 hours. The network is currently developing a client-side control to allow for individual activation without manual requests. Beyond immediate software protections, the operator is deepening its partnership with GTO Wizard to audit final-table play against preflop ICM solutions. If investigations into specific accounts confirm wrongdoing, the network has committed to determining appropriate compensation for affected users.
