After navigating his own path from Santiago de Cuba to a dental career in the United States, Dr. Holmes J. Galiano is bringing his specialized focus on cosmetic and restorative procedures to Jupiter Smiles Dentistry. His arrival expands the clinical team at the long-standing Palm Beach County practice.
A graduate of the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Dentistry, Galiano arrives with a decorated academic background. His honors include the American Academy of Esthetic Dentistry Student Award and the Quintessence Award for clinical achievement. Beyond his formal education, he refined his expertise in porcelain veneers and smile makeovers under the mentorship of Dr. David Hornbrook and Dr. Mark Montgomery. His commitment to advanced techniques continues through ongoing studies at The Pankey Institute.
Dr. Galiano joins founder Dr. Michael J. Scherb and Dr. Katherine A. Paulett, creating a trio of practitioners who share the same academic roots at the University of Alabama. The practice, established in 1989, serves patients across the Treasure Coast and Palm Beach County with a wide range of services spanning from routine preventive care to full mouth reconstruction. Galiano plans to leverage his fluency in English and Spanish to broaden patient access, emphasizing a personalized approach to restorative care that he believes is essential to building long-term trust with local families.
