Enverus launches AI tool to automate land title analysis

Austin-based Enverus has released Runsheet Assistant, an AI-powered feature for its Courthouse platform designed to accelerate land title verification. By enabling users to query entire document sets simultaneously rather than reviewing files individually, the tool aims to reduce the time required for complex chain-of-title analysis by up to 75%.

The technology addresses a long-standing bottleneck in the energy sector, where land and legal teams have traditionally relied on manual, document-by-document review to establish ownership. Runsheet Assistant operates directly on the Enverus Courthouse database, which contains over 350 million records from county courthouses. By identifying relationships across filings, the AI reconstructs ownership histories and surfaces lease insights in minutes.

Silas Martin, vice president of land products at Enverus, noted that the industry remains hampered by fragmented, manual workflows. The new capability allows professionals to process data at scale without the need for manual document assembly. For users like Wing Resources, the system enables more precise targeting of specific tracts, preventing the need to filter through irrelevant county-wide records. The tool is now available to existing Enverus Courthouse subscribers for tasks ranging from pre-acquisition diligence to the identification of potential title risks and asset restrictions.
