Pumpkins and Palm Trees Festival Returns to Fort Lauderdale Beach
The sixth annual Pumpkins & Palm Trees Fall Festival transforms Las Olas Oceanside Park on October 24, 2026, blending traditional autumn festivities with a tropical coastal atmosphere. Presented by the Fort Lauderdale Beach Business Improvement District, the event offers a full day of seasonal programming for local families and visitors.

The festival features a wide array of complimentary activities, including the MODS STEMobile for hands-on learning, balloon artistry, and lawn games. A highlight of the day is the Broward Center Spotlights Trick-or-Treat Trail, where costumed performers from the theater's current season entertain children as they collect treats. Alongside these attractions, the Oceanside Community MKT will operate from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., showcasing local vendors.
For those seeking more intensive play, the event offers two tiered carnival wristbands. A $10 pass provides unlimited access to inflatable attractions like the Harvest Corn Maze and the Big Top Bounce House, as well as five classic carnival games with plush prizes. An upgraded $12 wristband includes these features plus a pumpkin for decorating at a dedicated station sponsored by Coastal Wealth. Organizers recommend purchasing these passes in advance via the event website to ensure availability, particularly for the pumpkin decorating option.
Culinary talent takes center stage during the morning hours with the FRLA Broward Student Pie Baking Competition. Now in its sixth year, the contest serves as a platform for aspiring bakers to demonstrate their skills and engage with the hospitality industry. According to Rozeta Mahboubi, Chapter Director of FRLA Broward, the competition remains a vital investment in developing the next generation of regional culinary professionals.
