Highbar Physical Therapy Expands to 57th Location in Milford
With the launch of a new clinic in Milford, Massachusetts, Highbar Physical Therapy has reached a milestone of 57 active locations across New England. The expansion, timed to coincide with National Physical Therapy Month, marks another step for the organization since its origins as a single Pawtucket clinic in 1999.
The clinic operates under a model where clinicians, rather than administrators, drive patient care decisions. CEO Michelle Collie emphasizes that the Milford site adheres to the same standard of individualized practice found across the company's network, which includes affiliated practices like Peak Physical Therapy and Joint Ventures.
Beyond patient services, Highbar functions as a teaching practice, maintaining residency programs and clinical rotation partnerships with regional universities. The organization currently reports a 100% pass rate for board certifications among its staff. With plans to reach one million annual patient visits by 2032, the company is actively recruiting physical therapists and assistants across its four affiliated practices.
