Falcon Executive Aviation Gains GCAA Approval for Dubai Helipark

Dubai Helipark has officially cleared its final regulatory hurdle, securing GCAA certification for commercial helicopter operations at Dubai World Central. The site now serves as a high-speed transit node, linking private jet terminals at Al Maktoum International Airport directly to the wider UAE via a fleet of rotary-wing aircraft.

The facility, a subsidiary of Alex Group Investment, operates around the clock to accommodate business travelers requiring rapid transfers. By integrating with the Falcon Elite service, passengers can move between private jets and helicopters without the friction of traditional ground transport. The site is designed to handle aircraft up to 8.3 tonnes, including common models like the AW139, H145, and various Bell configurations.

Strategically situated in Dubai South, the park features eight dedicated parking positions and a maintenance stand, supporting both day and night flights. Sultan Rashit Shene, Chairman of Alex Group Investment, noted that the infrastructure is intended to bridge the gap between commercial aviation hubs and regional destinations. Since the certification was issued on October 1, 2026, the operator has begun managing arrivals and departures for a diverse range of Performance Class 1, 2, and 3 helicopters.
