Lennar Breaks Ground on Broadcast District in Wyomissing
A 120,000-square-foot retail hub anchored by Whole Foods Market will soon serve as the center of Broadcast District, a new 441-unit residential project in Wyomissing, Pennsylvania. Lennar officially broke ground on the development this week, aiming to blend suburban living with high-density walkability in Berks County.

Developed alongside partners Concordia Group and SJC Ventures, the site integrates townhomes and single-family houses with regional shopping destinations like Sephora and Shake Shack. The community features five distinct home collections, offering eight floorplans that range from 1,200 to 4,700 square feet. Sales are slated to commence in winter 2026, with entry-level pricing beginning in the $300,000s.
Tench Tilghman, division president for Lennar’s Pennsylvania-Delaware operations, noted that the project intends to shift the local residential dynamic toward a more connected, transit-oriented lifestyle. Residents will have access to a one-mile walking trail, outdoor fitness zones, and a dog park. The development sits near the junction of Routes 422 and 222, providing direct commutes to major business hubs while remaining within the Wilson School District. Each unit will include the builder's standard Everything's Included package, featuring quartz countertops and stainless steel appliances as part of the base purchase price.
