Victor Minella Joins Redhawk to Advise on Defense Modernization
Victor Minella, the former official who performed the duties of the Under Secretary of the Navy, has joined Irving-based defense technology firm Redhawk as a Strategic Advisor. His appointment aims to sharpen the company’s efforts in national security, intelligence, and the modernization of mission-focused naval systems.
Minella brings decades of high-level experience from his tenure in the Department of the Navy and his current role as CEO of Minella Global Strategies, LLC. He will focus on advancing Redhawk’s Central Data eXchange, an API-led platform designed to eliminate system silos and enhance data interoperability for federal customers. By integrating his expertise into the company’s growth strategy, Redhawk intends to improve operational visibility and decision-making speed across the defense community.
Redhawk CEO Matt Muns cited Minella’s background in intelligence and defense leadership as a critical asset for scaling the company’s capabilities. Minella stated that he intends to guide the team in addressing specific mission requirements through the firm’s existing technology stack, which includes cybersecurity, digital modernization, and systems integration services.
