iQSTEL Targets 300,000 Microdrama Subscribers in Digital Expansion

iQSTEL Inc. has launched commercial outreach to seven mobile operators, targeting a combined base of 93 million subscribers to distribute its microdrama content. This move signals the initial phase of a broader strategy to leverage the company’s existing telecom network, which holds a potential reach of 2.3 billion users worldwide.

The company has set an operating objective to reach 300,000 active paid monthly subscriptions by 2027. According to internal economic models, this target could yield an annualized profit contribution between $1.8 million and $3.6 million for the Digital Services division. CEO Leandro Iglesias emphasized that these efforts rely on the company's established commercial track record, which has seen its revenue run rate grow to $450 million as of July 2026.

While the current outreach to seven operators is a key development, management clarified that these discussions do not yet represent finalized distribution agreements or guaranteed access to subscribers. The push into digital content, alongside the planned acquisition of Ultranet, is designed to bolster EBITDA and expand the firm's geographic footprint. Edison Investment Research, in a report commissioned by iQSTEL, projects adjusted EBITDA of approximately $12.5 million for 2027, provided these integrations and service launches proceed as planned.
