Edcetera Launches PrepPE to Support Aspiring Professional Engineers
Waukesha-based Edcetera is extending its career education footprint by launching PrepPE, a digital platform tailored for engineers preparing to take the NCEES Principles and Practice of Engineering exam. The service aims to streamline the path to licensure by offering personalized study plans and exam simulation tools for busy professionals.
The new platform builds on the company's existing engineering portfolio, which already includes the PrepFE exam service and various continuing education programs. By integrating PrepPE, the firm now covers the entire professional arc from entry-level testing to long-term license maintenance. CEO Nader Qaimari stated that the initiative allows the company to support engineers at every critical career junction.
PrepPE features on-demand resources designed to identify specific knowledge gaps, allowing users to focus their study time efficiently. The platform includes confidence ratings and a full-length simulator that mirrors the actual NCEES testing environment. While the service currently focuses on the Civil PE exam, the company plans to introduce additional engineering disciplines in the near future. To mark the rollout, the company is offering a promotional sweepstakes featuring prizes such as drones and subscription reimbursements for early adopters.
