Striveworks Secures $200 Million Army Contract for Battlefield AI
The U.S. Army has awarded Striveworks a five-year, $200 million contract to scale its Chariot software across the Indo-Pacific theater. This expansion integrates the company’s AI infrastructure into the Next Generation Command and Control (NGC2) program, aiming to accelerate decision-making cycles for commanders in high-stress combat environments.

The agreement marks a significant step in the Army’s modernization efforts, specifically targeting the deployment of AI tools at I Corps. By utilizing the Chariot platform, soldiers can monitor and re-optimize models in real time, shifting data processing from manual observation to rapid, actionable insight. This capability is central to the NGC2 initiative, which prioritizes decision dominance over adversaries through human-in-the-loop systems.
James Rebesco, CEO and co-founder of Striveworks, noted that the platform is designed for the friction of the battlefield, emphasizing safety and human control. Previous applications of the software have already demonstrated improved targeting precision and faster fires processing times, while allowing units to maintain a lower signature. This award sits under the company's existing $700 million enterprise contract with the military, reinforcing its role as a primary provider for AI services across global combatant commands.
