Striveworks Secures $200 Million Army Contract for Battlefield AI
The U.S. Army has awarded Austin-based Striveworks a five-year, $200 million contract to scale its Chariot AI platform across the Indo-Pacific. This expansion marks a significant push to integrate automated decision-making tools into the Next Generation Command and Control initiative, aiming to sharpen targeting precision and processing speeds for frontline units.

The agreement leverages Striveworks’ existing enterprise partnership with the military to deploy AI services directly to the I Corps. By utilizing the Chariot suite, commanders can monitor and re-optimize AI models in real-time as battlefield conditions shift. The software is designed to prioritize human oversight, ensuring that automated insights remain under soldier authorization while handling the high-volume data streams typical of modern combat theaters.
James Rebesco, CEO of Striveworks, emphasized that the platform is engineered for high-stress environments where decision dominance is essential. Previous field use has demonstrated that the software helps units improve targeting accuracy while maintaining a reduced electromagnetic signature, making forces harder to detect. This latest funding follows an August confirmation that Striveworks would serve as a baseline provider for the Army’s broader multibillion-dollar modernization effort.
