Antengene to Unveil Preclinical Data on ATG-207 for Autoimmune Diseases
Antengene Corporation will present new preclinical data on ATG-207, a first-in-class bifunctional fusion protein, at the American College of Rheumatology Annual Meeting in Orlando this November. The drug aims to restore immune balance in patients with T cell-mediated autoimmune conditions by targeting TGF-β signaling.

The company’s research, scheduled for a poster presentation on November 9, 2026, details how ATG-207 leverages a peptide-masked and TGFβRIII-biased domain paired with an anti-CD3 antibody. By utilizing this structure, the therapy seeks to suppress pathogenic T cells while simultaneously promoting the differentiation of regulatory T cells, a mechanism designed to bypass the safety limitations often associated with systemic TGF-β delivery.
In laboratory and animal models, the candidate demonstrated significant therapeutic potential. According to the company, ATG-207 showed efficacy in treating experimental autoimmune encephalomyelitis and collagen-induced arthritis, while maintaining favorable stability and safety profiles in toxicology studies. These findings suggest that receptor-biased, context-restricted delivery may offer a more precise approach to restoring durable immune tolerance than conventional therapies.
