Kinepolis will maintain the Showcase Cinemas brand, promising a focus on operational continuity for both staff and patrons. While the company intends to keep existing management structures, CEO Eddy Duquenne stated the group plans to inject capital into the properties to enhance the moviegoing experience. This strategy aligns with the firm's broader international efforts to implement premium seating, high-end projection technology, and immersive sound systems across its venues.

Ryan Dion has been appointed as the new President of Operations at Showcase Cinemas, tasked with balancing local brand loyalty with the introduction of new premium formats. This move follows a series of strategic North American expansions for the group, which already oversees MJR Theatres and Emagine Entertainment in the U.S. and Landmark Cinemas in Canada. With this integration, Kinepolis now manages a global estate of 1,474 screens and roughly 230,000 seats, reinforcing its position as a major player in the global exhibition market.
