Under the glow of Milan’s evening lights, the spirit of the Andes and the Amazon arrived at Via Giovenale 7 on October 8th. Flor de Caña transformed the iconic Officina bar into a cross-continental hub, hosting a one-night takeover featuring top-tier mixologists from Chile, Colombia, and Peru.

The event brought together talent from venues recognized by The World's 50 Best Discovery list, including Santiago’s Siam Thai and Bogotá’s Jardín Tragos y Pasteles. Bartenders Beatriz Solari, Karla Martinez, Will Corredor, Alexander Ramirez, and Karla Palacios collaborated to showcase the versatility of the brand's sustainably crafted rums. Alongside Officina’s own Chef Mauri Alberca, brand ambassador Karen Álvarez curated a menu of Peruvian-inspired appetizers designed to mirror the complex profiles of the spirits.

Beyond the glassware, the evening emphasized the production philosophy of the rum, which has been distilled at the base of an active volcano since 1890. By focusing on carbon-neutral certification and the use of renewable energy, the brand aimed to bridge the gap between high-end mixology and environmental stewardship. For attendees in Milan, the collaboration served as a direct link to the current cocktail movements sweeping South America, blending regional culinary traditions with premium, sugar-free aging techniques.
