ODL Keystone Frame Wins 2026 Architect’s Newspaper Award
Architectural professionals have selected ODL’s Impact Rated Fiberglass Entry System for a 2026 Best of Products award. The honor highlights the company's Keystone frame technology, which balances heavy-duty storm resistance with a refined aesthetic profile designed to simplify installation and maintenance for contractors working in high-wind environments.

The jury for the Architect's Newspaper awards chose the system for its combination of innovation, performance, and design. Constructed from lightweight uPVC, the Keystone frame replaces traditional aluminum to reduce finishing complexity. It holds a ±65 DP certification, meeting rigorous High Velocity Hurricane Zone and Wind-Borne Debris Region standards when integrated with ODL impact-rated glass.
Derek Fielding, vice president of strategic marketing at ODL, noted that the system reflects a focus on combining durability with practical design improvements. The hardware features a 3/8-inch flat profile with welded miter corners, utilizing a patent-pending Grip-and-Release system. This mechanism secures the frame through interlocking stems rather than permanent adhesives, allowing for non-destructive removal during service. A co-extruded seal further protects the unit by preventing debris buildup and paint seepage, while the H-Channel design cushions the insulated glass to minimize potential damage.
