KAILAS Focuses on Climber Bonds in New Campaign

Beyond the technical challenge of an ascent, the true core of mountaineering lies in the trust between partners. KAILAS launched its "Stay Warm, Stay Together" campaign this October, highlighting the deep-seated professional relationships of elite climbers like Jon Otto, Zhang Qingwei, and internationally renowned alpinist Aleš Česen.

The campaign spotlights the human element of alpine survival, featuring pairs who have spent decades navigating high-altitude risks together. For veterans like Jon Otto and Ye Ren, two decades of shared technical instruction form the foundation of their success, while athletes Liu Junfu and Zhou Song—both recipients of the 19th China Outdoor Golden Rhino Awards—demonstrate how consistent joint training translates into survival in extreme terrain.

Reliable gear acts as the third partner in these environments. KAILAS engineered its GT Glacier Traverse Series to address the specific demands of snow-mountain climbing, utilizing goose down with 1,000 fill power and ZERO-Gravity Ultralight Fabric. By prioritizing warmth-to-weight ratios, the brand aims to minimize the physical toll on climbers, allowing them to focus on the terrain rather than the cold. These products are refined through real-world testing, emphasizing safety standards developed from years of feedback in the field.

Since late September, the campaign has moved from the mountains to urban centers, with imagery displayed on digital screens in 13 cities, including Beijing, Hong Kong, and Macao. By bridging the gap between niche alpinism and public awareness, KAILAS positions its hardware not just as a consumer good, but as a crucial component of the cooperation required to summit and return safely.
