Life Time Expands Florida Presence with Massive Lakewood Ranch Club
Spanning over 180,000 square feet, the new Life Time athletic country club in Lakewood Ranch officially opened its doors on October 12, 2026. This ground-up facility marks the company's first major development in the Tampa-Sarasota region, aiming to serve one of Florida’s fastest-growing residential hubs with a resort-style wellness complex.
The facility, located at 5000 Lakewood Ranch Blvd. N., integrates a diverse range of amenities designed to function as an extension of members' daily routines. The footprint is divided into three primary sectors: an 86,000-square-foot fitness center, a 50,000-square-foot beach club featuring leisure and lap pools, and a 50,000-square-foot pickleball retreat equipped with 14 courts.
Beyond traditional gym equipment, the club includes specialized recovery suites with cold plunges, saunas, and steam rooms, alongside a LifeClinic for chiropractic care. Parham Javaheri, Executive Vice President of Club Operations, stated the facility is designed to blend the high-energy environment of an athletic club with the leisure of a resort. Additional features include a coworking lounge, the Kids Academy, and a full-service LifeSpa, positioning the site as a comprehensive social destination for the community.
