Big Dan's Car Wash Expands Into Lake City With Charity Partnership
Lake City is now home to the latest Big Dan’s Car Wash, marking the company’s fourth Florida opening in as many months. The expansion into this regional transit hub includes a commitment to local advocacy, as the business launches its presence with a $5,000 donation to a disability services organization.

The new facility, situated in North Central Florida, introduces the brand’s signature express service and unlimited membership model to the region. To mark the arrival, the company is providing complimentary washes to local residents and offering an introductory rate of $5 per month for the first three months of its Auto-Graphx5 membership plan.
Beyond the retail rollout, the company is directing its initial proceeds toward CARC—Advocates for Citizens with Disabilities. Jay Shadday, President of Big Dan's Car Wash, described the move as a strategic effort to integrate into the community while supporting local families. Tripp Flournoy, the company’s Chief Operating Officer, noted that the partnership reflects a broader goal of fostering inclusion, mirroring the organization’s own focus on empowering individuals with disabilities. This opening is part of an aggressive growth strategy that aims to add three additional sites by the end of the year, further extending the network of locations where members can utilize their unlimited wash passes.
