Beaverton Seniors Receive $16,000 HVAC System Donation
A Beaverton couple struggling with mounting financial pressures and a failing climate control unit found an unexpected lifeline this week. Local contractor Aviator Heating & Cooling stepped in to install a new $16,000 heating and cooling system at no cost, effectively ending a period of significant uncertainty for the homeowners.
The project, facilitated through the Lennox Feel the Love program, replaced the couple's aging furnace and air conditioning equipment with energy-efficient hardware. For the wife, who recently took on a third job to manage mortgage payments and rising household costs, the donation provides more than just temperature control—it offers tangible financial relief. The installation team spent the day on-site, equipping the residence with a modern furnace, air conditioner, and thermostat to ensure long-term reliability. Coverage of the event by KOIN 6 News highlighted the impact of the initiative on residents facing economic hardship. Aviator Heating & Cooling, which serves the Portland metro area and southwest Washington, intends to maintain this community outreach effort to assist other families in similar circumstances.
