Transflo Retains Top Workplace Ranking for Women in Trucking
For the second consecutive year, Tampa-based logistics provider Transflo has secured a spot on the list of top employers for women in the trucking industry. The recognition, granted by the Women In Trucking Association’s official magazine, underscores the firm’s commitment to gender inclusion and professional advancement within a traditionally male-dominated sector.

The honor acknowledges Transflo’s efforts to foster an environment characterized by flexible work arrangements, competitive compensation, and structured career development. Renee Krug, the company’s CEO, emphasized the necessity of bridging the gender gap in an organization that sits at the intersection of logistics and technology. According to Krug, the company’s internal strategy focuses on both recruitment and the long-term professional growth of its female staff.
The selection process for the 2026 list involved a rigorous two-step vetting procedure. After initial nominations were reviewed against specific criteria, the final decision relied on an industry-wide vote. This year, more than 18,000 transportation professionals participated in the balloting process, resulting in 106 companies receiving the distinction. Brian Everett, group publisher at Redefining the Road, stated that the award validates Transflo’s ongoing dedication to workplace culture as confirmed by the broader transportation community.
