myFirst Debuts Creative Tech Suite for Children
LOS ANGELES — Three new devices headlined by a thermal-print camera and a fingerprint-secured water bottle arrived this week as part of myFirst’s “The Magic Begins” collection. The lineup aims to balance digital engagement with physical play, targeting early developmental stages through specialized creative and safety-focused hardware.
The Insta magiCam anchors the release, functioning as a thermal-print camera that encourages children to photograph and narrate their surroundings. By combining voice-to-image technology with physical printouts, the device allows children to manipulate their captured scenes. Complementing this is the Insta magiBox, a specialized printer that translates spoken prompts into multi-scene illustrated stories, designed for children who possess vivid imaginations but lack traditional drawing or writing skills.
Beyond creativity, the brand is pushing into hardware safety with the CareSip. This water bottle features a biometric fingerprint lock that stores up to 20 authorized user profiles. The system integrates with the myFirst Circle app, allowing parents to restrict access when liquid temperatures exceed 133°F, providing a layer of protection for younger users.
These additions join an expanding ecosystem of kid-centric electronics, including the 4G-enabled Fone M2 smartwatch, the wellness-tracking Watch F1, and the ViewTalkie. By maintaining an ad-free and internet-gated environment, the company intends to provide children with digital experiences that prioritize independent discovery over unrestricted connectivity.
