Xteink X4 Pro Hits Record Low Price

The latest iteration of the X4 Pro integrates a touchscreen alongside traditional physical page-turning buttons, providing a more intuitive navigation experience. A new touch-sensitive button sits below the display for quick home-screen access, while the updated built-in light allows for adjustable brightness and color temperature. The device runs on CrossPoint Reader software, which marks a significant improvement in library management over previous generations, even if it remains slightly less refined than Amazon’s proprietary ecosystem.

Despite the performance gains, the hardware shift to a proprietary charging connector instead of USB-C remains a point of friction. The integrated magnets, designed to snap the device onto compatible smartphones, have been strengthened, though they still lack the absolute security some users might prefer. Regardless of these quirks, the X4 Pro remains a highly portable companion for those who prioritize convenience, earning a recommendation as a device that justifies its place in a daily carry.
