ArriVent BioPharma Investors Face Losses After Clinical Trial Failure

Shares of ArriVent BioPharma plunged by as much as 63% on October 6, 2026, after the company announced that its pivotal Phase 3 FURVENT trial for the lung cancer drug firmonertinib failed to reach its primary goal. The sharp decline has prompted law firm Levi & Korsinsky to launch an investigation into potential securities violations.

The clinical setback centers on the FURVENT study, a global trial evaluating firmonertinib as a first-line treatment for patients with EGFR exon 20 insertion-mutated non-small-cell lung cancer. While the company reported some positive secondary outcomes and maintained that no new safety issues emerged, the failure to hit the progression-free survival endpoint triggered a massive sell-off. By the opening bell, the stock had plummeted to a 52-week low of approximately $12.09.

Levi & Korsinsky is now reviewing whether ArriVent BioPharma misled shareholders regarding the prospects of its lead candidate. The firm is inviting investors who purchased shares at allegedly inflated prices to submit documentation of their financial losses. Participation in the investigation is open to both current and former shareholders, including those residing outside the United States who purchased securities on domestic exchanges.
