Investors Face November Deadline in Better Home & Finance Fraud Suit

Investors who incurred financial losses holding Better Home & Finance Holding Company securities now have a window to serve as lead plaintiffs in a pending class action lawsuit. The litigation, filed by Glancy Prongay Wolke & Rotter LLP, targets alleged misrepresentations made by the firm between March and May 2026.

The complaint centers on allegations that Better Home & Finance obscured the reality of its business operations during the spring of 2026. According to the court filing, the company failed to disclose that its conversion funnel was decelerating due to broader macroeconomic pressures. This oversight allegedly rendered internal projections—specifically the $1 billion monthly funded volume target—unachievable, casting doubt on the accuracy of the company’s public statements regarding its growth prospects.

Shareholders who purchased stock during this period are eligible to participate, with a court-imposed deadline of November 20, 2026, to file for lead plaintiff status. While Glancy Prongay Wolke & Rotter LLP is actively soliciting claimants, investors retain the right to select alternative counsel or remain passive class members. As of now, no class has been formally certified by the court.
