Medicare Advantage members across the Midwest can now use evermore OTC spend cards at Meijer locations to purchase health-related essentials. This integration connects supplemental benefit plans directly to the retailer’s pharmacy and wellness aisles, simplifying the checkout process for seniors seeking to utilize their health coverage for everyday needs.
The partnership spans Meijer’s footprint across Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Kentucky, and Wisconsin. By accepting these cards, the retailer allows eligible customers to apply their plan-approved benefits toward health items and wellness products during their routine grocery shopping. Jackie Morse, Group Vice President of Pharmacy and Health at Meijer, noted that the initiative aims to make accessing health-focused essentials more convenient for the company's customer base.
Jared Childs, VP of Growth at evermore, emphasized that the collaboration leverages Meijer’s regional retail presence to improve benefit accessibility for seniors.
