Infotech Rebrands and Acquires Zluri to Launch Data-Driven Advisory

Infotech, formerly known as Info-Tech Research Group, has launched a global API-driven advisory platform called CIO Analytics. To bolster the new service, the company also finalized its acquisition of Zluri, marking the first time in the firm’s 30-year history that it has purchased another business to expand its capabilities.

The new platform moves beyond traditional research by connecting directly to a client’s operational systems. By integrating real-time data with benchmarks and AI-assisted services, Infotech aims to bridge the gap between generalized industry advice and specific organizational needs. The initial launch includes modules for Service Desk Analytics, Application Discovery, and Identity Governance. Zluri, founded in 2020 to help companies manage SaaS portfolios and software spending, will contribute its core technology to support these modules.

This shift reflects a broader strategy to transform Infotech into a technology-enabled advisory firm. Under the leadership of CEO Tom Zehren, the company has seen significant growth, surpassing 300 million USD in annual revenue after expanding more than 340 percent over the last seven years. The acquisition of Zluri is intended to provide IT leaders with granular control over complex digital environments while Infotech’s analysts provide the context needed to act on that information. The company plans to release further modules for the platform to cover additional IT management functions.
