FETV Brings Back Classic Holiday Marathons for Winter Season
South Bend-based broadcaster FETV is reviving its "Classic Christmas" programming block this year, aiming to anchor the holiday season with a mix of vintage cinema and nostalgic television episodes. The schedule begins October 25, offering viewers a curated path through mid-century family favorites and seasonal specials.

The "Sunday Merry Matinee" series leads the lineup, starting with the 1954 musical White Christmas on October 25. This weekly movie block continues through December 20, featuring titles such as The Homecoming: A Christmas Story and A Very Brady Christmas. FETV will also broadcast the holiday staple Miracle on 34th Street on Thanksgiving night, with an encore set for the following afternoon.
Beyond feature films, the network is dedicating significant airtime to episodic television. On November 27, the "Black Friday, White Christmas" marathon will bypass retail-focused programming in favor of holiday-themed installments from series like The Jeffersons, Adam-12, and Bewitched. The network closes its seasonal run with "Christmas with the Clampetts" on December 25, a marathon dedicated to The Beverly Hillbillies. Executive Vice President Adam Sumrall noted that the selection serves to bridge generational gaps by spotlighting shows that have remained staples of family viewing traditions.
