Eggs Up Grill targets NASCAR fans to fuel national franchise expansion
To accelerate its footprint across Alabama and beyond, breakfast chain Eggs Up Grill is leveraging the high-octane exposure of the Yellawood 500. The franchise, which currently counts over 200 units open or in development, will debut on Cole Custer’s No. 41 Chevrolet during the Talladega Superspeedway race weekend.

The partnership serves as a strategic marketing engine for the South Carolina-based brand, which specializes in daytime-only operations. By aligning with the October 23–25 race event, the company aims to move beyond regional familiarity and capture national recognition. CEO Ricky Richardson emphasizes that brand visibility is a critical component of attracting new franchise partners, noting that the company’s growth model relies on operators who can scale multiple locations.
Beyond trackside branding, the company is bridging the gap between the speedway and its dining rooms through a promotional tie-in. Participating restaurants will sell "Dega Donuts" for $1.41 on October 24 and 25, a direct nod to driver Cole Custer’s car number. This initiative marks a broader push to solidify the chain’s presence in emerging markets where it seeks to convert race fans into both customers and potential investors.
