The foundation, established in 2020, selected the recipients based on their capacity to improve lives and strengthen regional neighborhoods. Recipients range from the Botetourt County Fair Association in Virginia to the Will Erwin Headache Research Foundation in Texas, covering a diverse spectrum of advocacy and support services. Since its inception, the organization has distributed over $1.6 million across 48 states and the District of Columbia. ALTA CEO Chris Morton emphasized that the initiative highlights the industry's commitment to community welfare, which extends beyond the traditional scope of property rights and title insurance services.
