The initiative, which launched in 2025, reimagines Vitanya’s existing BrainOn program by shifting from video calls to spatial computing. By utilizing OpenXR standards, the developers have ensured the platform remains compatible with evolving hardware ecosystems. Current iterations of the software allow users to maintain awareness of their physical surroundings through augmented reality, while future updates will introduce fully immersive virtual spaces to further isolate users from external stimuli.

Sterling Youngman, CEO of Shivoo Studios, noted that the headset’s form factor naturally channels attention toward the session, fostering a more controlled environment for mental training. Despite the shift toward automation, the platform retains a human-centered approach. Users remain connected to certified coaches during their sessions, bridging the gap between one-on-one professional guidance and high-tech visualization. Michael Southworth, Vitanya’s founder, emphasized that the transition transforms a tool often associated with gaming into a practical application for sleep, cognitive clarity, and performance. The companies are currently targeting deployment across military facilities and emergency response organizations.
