The Op Games Brings Dinosaur Volcano Battle to Ogden Dinosaur Park
Children visiting Utah’s George S. Eccles Dinosaur Park & Museum this fall will find prehistoric competition moving from the exhibits to the tabletop. Starting October 15, The Op Games is launching a partnership with the park to distribute its new Dinosaur Volcano Battle game during seasonal events and birthday celebrations.

The promotion coincides with the park’s Dinos in the Dark Halloween event, where attendees between the ages of five and ten can win copies of the game. Families hosting birthday parties at the Ogden facility through November 30 will also receive the title as a complimentary gift. According to Dane Chapin, CEO of The Op, the collaboration aims to integrate the game into an environment already centered on paleontology and family engagement.
Dinosaur Volcano Battle features two to four players competing to knock down opponent standees using lava-themed projectiles. Retailing for $19.97, the game is designed for quick, accessible rounds. Noah Erb, director of education and marketing at the park, noted that the partnership extends the museum's mission of hands-on learning by allowing families to bring the excitement of the park’s 8.5-acre trail of life-sized sculptures into their own homes.
