The conference, known as SCM27, serves as a primary hub for interprofessional education, featuring over 90 general sessions across seven specialized tracks. According to Program Chair Dr. Jeffrey William, the curriculum is designed to bridge the gap between emerging clinical guidelines and the daily challenges faced by care teams. Attendees will explore critical developments ranging from artificial intelligence in dialysis settings to advancements in xenotransplantation and Cardio-Kidney-Metabolic Syndrome.

Beyond clinical training, the meeting prioritizes professional development and research dissemination. Trainees gain access to dedicated networking events, including journal presentations and poster tours, while established experts will deliver three signature award lectures. The foundation is currently accepting research abstracts for the event until December 1, 2026, building on a record of more than 650 submissions in the previous year. Early-bird registration remains available to professionals through March 10, 2027.
