Reveleer Appoints Dr. Jean-Luc Neptune as Chief Medical Officer
After two decades bridging the gap between clinical practice and software development, Dr. Jean-Luc Neptune has joined AI-driven healthcare firm Reveleer as Chief Medical Officer. He will oversee clinical strategy for the company’s value-based care programs, which currently support 12 million covered lives across the United States.

Dr. Neptune brings a dual perspective to the Glendale-based company, having served as both a practicing physician and a digital health founder. His appointment arrives as health plans grapple with a widening gap between the rapid adoption of artificial intelligence and the operational readiness required to manage it safely. Reveleer, which has processed over two billion pages of medical records, aims to leverage his background to ensure its EVE™ AI platform remains transparent enough for clinician verification.
CEO Jay Ackerman emphasized that the firm is shifting its focus from retrospective chart reviews toward providing actionable insights directly at the point of care. Dr. Neptune’s role will center on maintaining that clinical oversight, ensuring that AI-generated suggestions for risk adjustment and care gaps are backed by verifiable evidence. Before joining Reveleer, Neptune held a leadership role at Commure and earned his medical training at Columbia University alongside an MBA from the Wharton School. He and Ackerman are scheduled to discuss the role of human judgment in automated clinical workflows during a virtual event on November 10, 2026.
