Bluesky expands Attie AI to host user-generated social apps

Bluesky is evolving its Attie AI tool from a custom feed generator into a platform for building lightweight social applications. CEO Toni Schneider envisions the service as a form of “vibe coding,” allowing users to deploy functional games, polls, and interactive dashboards directly to the web via simple text prompts.

The platform generates these mini-apps with unique URLs on the attie.site domain, embedding creator attribution at the bottom of each page. Early examples currently available on the site range from a Flappy Bird clone titled Flappy Butterfly to a functional drum machine, a quiz, and an idle clicker game.

During a demonstration at TechCrunch Disrupt, the software proved capable of spinning up niche projects in minutes. While these tools remain rooted in novelty, they represent a shift in how community-driven content is distributed across the social network. By moving beyond algorithmic feeds, Bluesky aims to provide creators with a sandbox for interactive community engagement that functions independently of the main timeline.
