Michael J. Bonner Receives Top Honor from Las Vegas Economic Partnership
Amid the unveiling of the Las Vegas Regional Economic Partnership’s new identity, Michael J. Bonner, co-managing shareholder at Greenberg Traurig, received the inaugural Distinguished Leadership Award. The honor recognizes his influence on Southern Nevada’s economic trajectory and his dedication to fostering inclusive growth across the region’s diverse business sectors.
The award was presented during the organization’s first PERSPECTIVE Awards Dinner on October 15, an event gathering regional stakeholders to celebrate local economic development. Jim Mace, Bonner’s co-managing shareholder, nominated him for the recognition, citing his ability to inspire collaboration and purposeful leadership. Litigation Shareholder Joel E. Tasca presented the award to Bonner at the ceremony.
Bonner’s career centers on advising boards and gaming industry clients on complex corporate governance. Beyond his legal practice, he has maintained a long-term commitment to civic and educational organizations, working to bridge gaps between diverse stakeholders. The Las Vegas Regional Economic Partnership, recently rebranded from the LVGEA, serves as a public-private entity focused on regional connectivity and business expansion. As one of Nevada’s eight designated Regional Development Authorities for 2026-2027, the group continues to emphasize Southern Nevada's role in global economic innovation.
