Arctic Fox Technologies introduces the touchscreen Super Mouse
A boxy, wired peripheral from Arctic Fox Technologies is trading traditional ergonomic curves for a 3.1-inch, 720 x 720 touchscreen display. Designed to consolidate a macro pad, trackpad, and streaming controller into one footprint, the device sits under the user's palm, functioning as a primary interface for customizable shortcuts.
The Super Mouse features two standard primary buttons, a scroll wheel, and a pair of customizable “hyper keys” flanking the central display. Its integrated Control Panel supports up to 16 distinct macros or app launchers, aiming to replace secondary peripherals on crowded desks. In a more ambitious play, the manufacturer suggests the interface could even act as a keyboard replacement, supporting swipe-typing functionality similar to modern mobile devices.
Unlike many contemporary peripherals, the device lacks an internal battery, requiring a constant USB-C connection. While competitors like the Turtle Beach Command Series MC7 utilize smaller side-mounted displays, this model prioritizes a front-and-center interface. Arctic Fox Technologies has opened preorders via Kickstarter at a $199 early-bird price, with a planned retail tag of $249. Potential backers should weigh the February 2027 delivery estimate against the historical tendency for crowdfunding hardware projects to encounter significant production delays.
