Jackery packs LFP battery tech into its smallest power station yet
Measuring just 4.6 by 3.4 by 3.4 inches and weighing under two pounds, the new Explorer 100D brings industrial-grade lithium iron phosphate battery chemistry to a portable, carry-on-friendly form factor. Jackery is positioning this 96Wh unit as a durable, long-term power solution for frequent travelers and commuters.

The Explorer 100D arrives with a 30,000mAh capacity, distinguishing itself from standard power banks through its use of LFP cells. Jackery claims these cells support 3,000 charge cycles, a lifespan intended to provide up to eight years of regular use. While smaller, budget-friendly chargers exist, the company argues this longevity makes the 100D a more sustainable investment than typical lithium-ion alternatives.
Despite its compact footprint, the device includes a handle and an optional shoulder strap. The front panel houses two 140W USB-C ports and a single 18W USB-A port. Users should note that total output is capped at 158W, meaning power delivery throttles when multiple devices draw energy simultaneously. For off-grid scenarios, the unit supports up to 100W of solar input, capable of reaching an 80 percent charge in approximately 90 minutes.
Shoppers can currently purchase the 100D at Costco in a two-pack bundle for $179.99. A standalone retail launch is scheduled for November 15th at Walmart with a price tag of $99.
