Casio shrinks the classic 1995 A168 into a digital ring

Thirty years after the A168 digital watch first hit shelves, Casio is condensing the iconic design into the CRW-002, a functional ring that packs the original timepiece’s aesthetic onto a finger. This miniaturized accessory follows the manufacturer's earlier G-Shock ring experiment, bringing a retro-tech aesthetic to the jewelry market.

The CRW-002 recreates the vintage digital display with high-precision detailing, maintaining the distinct look that defined the 1995 original. Casio plans to release the ring in two variations: a silver finish priced at $135 and a gold version retailing for $155. Both models are scheduled for release later this month, offering a wearable piece of horological history for enthusiasts of the brand’s compact, functional design language.
