Closing the Loop: Jereh Scales Industrial Battery Recycling
As global mandates for battery circularity tighten, the Jereh Group’s Zhengzhou facility has moved beyond pilot-phase environmental compliance to deliver industrial-scale profitability. By processing 15,000 tons of feedstock with high recovery purity, the company is positioning its automated recycling technology as a strategic solution for the tightening global lithium supply chain.

The Zhengzhou plant serves as the proving ground for Jereh’s proprietary equipment, achieving a 98% recovery rate for black mass and 96% efficiency in copper and aluminum separation. These performance metrics have paved the way for the rollout of the Lithium Battery Recycling Equipment 2.0, which boosts single-line annual capacity by 50% while addressing the core challenge of commercial viability in the circular economy.
Jereh is now extending its reach beyond domestic borders, with new sites in Guangzhou and Chongqing preparing for imminent operation. The company is simultaneously scaling its global footprint through partnerships in Hungary, Australia, South Korea, and the United States. A recent agreement with Witthal Gulf to develop a project in Abu Dhabi underscores an aggressive strategy to export its LFP Cathode Material Regeneration solution. By utilizing a dry physical process that eliminates wastewater and cuts carbon emissions by 60%, Jereh aims to standardize high-efficiency recycling infrastructure across international markets.
