NexLawn Secures Six Design Accolades for 2026 Robotics Lineup
Berlin-based NexLawn has claimed six major industry honors, securing two iF Design Awards and four Red Dot Awards for 2026. The recognition highlights the company's rapid expansion into smart outdoor hardware, specifically across its Master X, VIDAR, and NAVIA series, which balance industrial aesthetics with advanced autonomous functionality.

The Master X serves as the flagship of this design evolution, transitioning from a standard mower to a multi-functional outdoor assistant. Built on a 25 cm-high 4WD chassis, it utilizes a retractable arm extending up to 77 cm to manage diverse tasks, from weeding and harvesting to debris collection. Its aesthetic design features curved silver and black surfaces contrasted by red accents, signaling a departure from traditional lawn care machinery.
Engineering and Navigation Innovations
NexLawn’s VIDAR series, including the 800, 1600, and 3000 AWD models, emphasizes terrain versatility. By integrating NexDetect™ AI stereo vision and 3D LiDAR, these units operate without perimeter wires. The VIDAR 3000 AWD, inspired by fighter jet geometry, maintains a low center of gravity to navigate slopes up to 38 degrees. Meanwhile, the NAVIA 5000 and 5500 models target large estate maintenance through NexNav™ Integrated Positioning, which combines NRTK and 360° LiDAR. Beyond mowing, these units function as autonomous security sentinels, offering real-time patrol and video monitoring to bridge the gap between gardening tools and home protection systems.
