Church's Texas Chicken Targets Soccer Fans with New Golazo Meal
For $39.99, customers can secure a bundle featuring 20 pieces of chicken, four large sides, ten biscuits, and a collectible soccer ball. As the summer tournament season kicks off, Church's Texas Chicken is leveraging the global sport to drive traffic through a rotating series of limited-edition memorabilia.

The promotion centers on four weekly rotating ball designs representing powerhouses Brazil, Argentina, Mexico, and the USA. Available at U.S. locations starting June 15, 2026, the meal aims to position the chain as a destination for match-day gatherings. Chief Executive Officer Roland Gonzalez noted that the initiative moves beyond standard promotions by integrating functional collectibles into the brand’s shareable food offerings.
Beyond the meal kits, the company is incorporating artistic elements into its store presence. New Orleans-based artist Courtney "Ceaux" Buckley designed custom, soccer-inspired packaging for select menu items, reflecting the energy of the sport. The brand is also extending its reach into local Houston communities through a partnership with Big Brothers Big Sisters of America. This includes a youth soccer clinic and a public block party scheduled for June 27 at its Kirby Drive location, accompanied by a $1,000 donation to support local mentorship programs.
