AIRA Announces Leadership Rotation and Honors Dr. Jack F. Williams
The Association of Insolvency and Restructuring Advisors finalized a series of leadership shifts at its annual conference in Nashville on June 4, 2026, marking a transition in the organization's executive board while recognizing a prominent figure in the field of bankruptcy law with its highest honor.

Boris Steffen of Province, LLC, steps into the role of president, taking over from Eric A.W. Danner. Danner moves to the position of chairperson, succeeding Denise Lorenzo, who will continue to serve as a board member. R. Scott Williams of RumbergerKirk was named president-elect, while Robert Swartz and Kenneth J. Enos maintain their respective posts as treasurer and secretary.
Alongside the structural changes, the association presented the Emanuel M. Katten Founders Award to Dr. Jack F. Williams. A professor of law at Georgia State University and the Center for Middle East Studies, Williams was selected for his long-standing commitment to the restructuring profession. The award commemorates the legacy of Emanuel M. Katten, a key architect of the organization's CIRA certification program.
