The collaboration centers on deploying the Infosys Topaz Fabric, an agentic services suite designed to automate IT workflows while maintaining human-in-the-loop governance. By integrating this technology, Valmet intends to reduce operational costs and shift its internal IT management toward a more proactive, resilient footing. The transformation also relies on Infosys Cobalt, which will provide the scalable cloud foundation necessary to support the company’s business objectives across its global footprint.

Arto Huuskonen, VP of IT Transformation at Valmet, noted that the company requires a future-ready digital foundation to support its broader business goals. For Infosys, the deal represents a significant expansion of its manufacturing sector footprint. Jasmeet Singh, EVP and Global Head of Manufacturing at Infosys, described the partnership as a way to unlock value at scale, moving beyond traditional IT support toward an AI-first operating model. This engagement is expected to streamline Valmet’s resource allocation and improve service delivery across the company's diverse international operations.
