The new system retains the company’s signature 4-stage Ultra Reverse Osmosis technology, which is certified to eliminate persistent substances like PFAS, PFOAS, lead, and microplastics. Peter Spiegel, founder and co-CEO of Ideal Living, noted that the redesign prioritizes both performance and user experience by incorporating audible filter-change alerts and a one-touch reset button. The cabinet design has been streamlined to hide tubing, offering a more polished aesthetic compared to its predecessor.

Functionality improvements include flexible power options, allowing the device to run on either batteries or a USB-C connection. The updated installation process utilizes a color-coded, four-point system intended to minimize potential points of failure. Priced at $395—or $420 for the alkaline-capable version—the unit stores 1.7 gallons of purified water and is available in polished chrome, stainless steel, and matte black finishes.
