Eugene Zollinger Appointed Regional Vice President at Assurity
Eugene Zollinger has stepped into a new leadership role at Assurity, taking charge of worksite sales across South Texas and Louisiana. Based in Marion, Texas, he brings a decades-long regional history and an extensive background in both individual voluntary insurance and brokerage network development to the mutual organization.
Zollinger officially joined the company on June 1, tasked with cultivating business relationships among insurance brokers, health agencies, and producers. His appointment leverages a career that began in 2017 with his own independent agency in New Braunfels, followed by executive tenures at Hermann Sons Life Insurance and Globe Life-Liberty National Division. Most recently, he served as a Regional Director for Crump Life Insurance Services, where he focused on expanding nationwide sales networks for financial professionals.
With over 30 years of residency in Texas and fluency in Spanish, Zollinger is positioned to deepen Assurity’s local market penetration. He holds a Bachelor of Arts from Texas A&M University and an MBA from the University of Texas. Reflecting on his transition, Zollinger cited his history with the firm as a deciding factor, noting that his roots in independent agency work align with the support structures Assurity provides to its partners.
